We at the Church of Google believe the search engine Google is the closest humankind has ever come to directly experiencing an actual God (as typically defined). We believe there is much more evidence in favour of Google's divinity than there is for the divinity of other more traditional gods.

We reject supernatural gods on the notion they are not scientifically provable. Thus, Googlists believe Google should rightfully be given the title of "God", as She exhibits a great many of the characteristics traditionally associated with such Deities in a scientifically provable manner.

We have compiled a list of nine proofs which definitively prove Google is the closest thing to a "god" human beings have ever directly experienced.

Gostaria de Sublinhar essa passagem:

"We believe there is much more evidence in favour of Google's divinity than there is for the divinity of other more traditional gods"

E essa:

"Google should rightfully be given the title of "God", as She exhibits a great many of the characteristics traditionally associated with such Deities in a scientifically provable manner"

Pois, a extensão é ".org".

Vejam:

Today is Easter Sunday and Google did not ‘Googlize’ this holiday. I’m not sure if Googlize is the correct term for what they do with holidays, but I’m sure you’ve seen Google when they ‘Googlize’ a holiday. They play with the Google logo and put something in it relating to the holiday or event. Then when you click on the logo, Google does a search on that holiday or event. For example, when it was Earth Day, they Googlized it with a Earth in one of the O’s and then when you clicked on the logo, you would be taken to a search results page for ‘earth day’. They do this for score of minor holidays and events such as Purim, Kwanzaa, Spring Equinox (first day of Spring), Einstein’s Birthday, Mother’s Day, to name just a few. So why not Easter?

Happy Holidays from Google 2009
